This is the card of inspiration and departure. Of someone who has sudden inspirations with many possibilities. Life is never dull for this carefree spirit. The Knight of Wands may have a strong impulse to do something creative or to learn more about spiritual or philosophical matters, not necessarily completing any of them.
Our lady adventurer is full of courage, and with her ginger and blond streaked hair flying in the wind, she's about to take a parachute jump from an aeroplane. Not something that everyone would do.
'Fair hair, red hair, eyes of blue
Young person's views may trouble you'
But she is full of optimism and loves new experiences. Perhaps you are ready to make a significant move of some kind too.

I was thinking abot the Knight of Wands the other day. I think that it should be my personal card too and your description confirms that. I am a terrible one for starting stuff and not finishing it.
ReplyDeleteDo you write the little lines of verse/poetry yourself? I really like them. They flavour your blog posts beautifully.
Hi Prince - good to hear from you!
ReplyDeleteI copied all the little Tarot couplets out of a Tarot book many years ago, then unfortunately lost the information about the sourcebook.
I keep expecting someone to jump in and say 'Hey - you're using my poems and not attributing them!'
So far no-one has, but I live in hope. Knight of Wands suits me down to the ground.
If you know your MBTI, Knight of Wands is ENFP, which is me. You can always find a free Kiersey test on-line and do it to get your MBTI. Do let me know how you come out on that!

Ah, have you a link to the Kiersey test you used?

ReplyDeleteLet me know your four-letter result and I'll tell you your Court card significator. There are various correspondences, but I prefer the one in the Jana Riley book.
I am a ENFP
ReplyDeleteSorry Prince, that I've taken 6 months to reply to you. Life, not in its best forms, has got in the way of my Tarot card draws during that time.
ReplyDeleteLike me, you're an ENFP - why am I not surprised?
Our significator is the Knight of Wands - enjoy!
